Ben Weinman (Dillinger Escape Plan, Suicidal Tendencies) has been doing his thing on ESP and ESP LTD-made guitars for years, so it only makes sense that the light-fingered American math-core guitarist is finally treated to his own signature axe: the ESP LTD BW-1 Evertune. This singular semi-hollowbody electric guitar sports a stunning flamed maple top coated in See Thru Black lacquer, a stable neck-thru construction, a pair of active Fishman pickups and, as implied, a revolutionary Evertune bridge. Before we forget, this signature guitar comes with a matching Xtone XL form-fit guitar case from ESP.

The BW-1 Evertune: Asymmetrical Single-Cut Chambered body

Happy to indulge Weinman, ESP LTD have granted the BW-1 an asymmetrical single-cut body topped with arched flamed maple. Partly chambered, the body has a uniquely-shaped sound hole which not only opens up the tone but adds a lush layer, while the maple neck has been shot all the way through the body to help deliver a tighter, more direct sound alongside masses of sustain. For maximum visual impact, the ebony fretboard even comes lined with differently sized block inlays.

An Evertune Bridge & Fishman Fluence Modern Pickups

The ESP LTD BW-1 has been kitted out with an Evertune bridge. This innovative system is unlikely to ever drop out of tune and offers perfect intonation from the first fret, all the way all the way up to the 24th. What's also great is that the Evertune bridge can even keep the tuning in check after extreme string bends and awkward chord grabs. Last but not least, ESP LTD have armed this Signature Series Ben Weinman guitar with a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers: an Alnico edition at the neck and a Ceramic model at the bridge, the voicings of which can be intuitively toggled using the fitted push/pull tone pot.
